Von Dutch was founded in 1999 by Tonny Sorenson. It captured the essence of the 50s Counter Culture movement on the west coast and is directly inspired by Kenneth Howard, "Von Dutch" himself, a famous surfer and motorcyclist in the 50s. Since then it has captured international recognition and became the 2nd most searched brand in the world. Von Dutch Eyewear was worn by celebrities like Madonna, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ashton Kutcher, and many others. More recently however, you can see Von Dutch Eyewear on celebrities like Kylie Jenner.
